Australian South Asia Forum Inc. (ASAF) is a “not-for-profit” association Founded in 2012 & Incorporated in 2013 in Sydney, Australia by the Founder President Ash Gholkar. It is aimed at betterment of people with the South Asian background. It’s the only non-profit association of its kind in Sydney, Australia.
ASAF was formed with the purpose to disseminate quality information related to South Asian heritage, culture, politics and business with the view to provide advocacy and camaraderie to those sharing the heritage or having an interest in South Asia (Indian sub-continent comprising of eight countries South Asian countries Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, the Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka) to celebrate and exchange the cultural heritage of the region and to strengthen the relationship through sharing of the regional dance, music, theatre, literature, cinema and arts.
