Australian South Asia Forum Inc. (ASAF) is a “not-for-profit” association founded in 2012. It is aimed at betterment of people with the South Asian background. It’s the only non-profit association of its kind in Sydney/ Australia. It represents the South Asian community in the matters of community concerns such as socio-economic, cultural, and political issues. ASAF is not in a competition with any other community association.
Safal Fest
Australian South Asia Forum Inc. (ASAF) is proud to launch the worlds first South Asian Film, Arts & Literature Festival (SAFAL fest) as it's subsidiary.
This will be an annual event celebrating the rich and diverse arts and culture of the South Asian region comprising the nations of Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Pakistan.

Our mission is to facilitate greater assimilation, citizenship, and enrichment of people of South Asian heritage through enhanced public policy engagement, supportive policy formation on relevant socio-cultural, political, and economic matters, and contribution to harmony, multiculturalism, and prosperity in Australia.
OUR FOCUS
ASAF acts with a focus on providing politically neutral platform for exchange of views on the matters of community concerns. It makes representation to the government on issues that matter to the South Asian community. It conducts networking events for its members to promote greater interaction and business opportunities.
YOUR CONCERNS
If something is happening in the public arena, which is bothering you or you are a bit concerned about its impact on you then this is the right forum for you to join and let your voice be heard by government. Similar to very strong forums of other ethnic communities, together we can make our voice heard.
